Study on Extraction Technics of Puerarin from Tongmai Granule by the Method of Orthogonal-test Optimization

Objective To optimize the extraction technics of puerarin from Tongmai Granule.Methods The extraction rate of puerarin optimized condition(ethanol concentration,extraction time,solvent quantity and extraction times)was determined by orthogonal design.Results The order of factors to affect the puerarin extraction was ethanol concentrationextraction times solvent quantityextraction time.Conclusion The optimum extraction was described as follows :The concentration of alcohol was 80%,volume of alcohol was 12 times raw herb,and the herb was extracted 3 times with 3 h for each time.
