Clinical Nursing Research on Algoplaque in Treatment of Superficial Phlebitis Caused by Intravenous Infusion

Objective To investigate the curing effects of algoplaque on superficial phlebitis caused by intravenous infusion.Methods Fourth-four patients suffered from superficial phlebitis in the Vascular Department of the PLA General Hospital were divided into two groups.The experimental group was treated with algoplaque films,while the control group was wet compressed with magnesium sulfate.Results The effective power of the experimental group treated with algoplaque was 92%,while the one of the control group was79.3%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion With a good effect of alleviating the pain and without obvious side effects,algoplaque appears to have an significant effect on the treatment of superior phlebitis.It can easily be accepted by the patients and helps to reduce the workload of nurses.
