Abstract
In the research history of The Book of Songs, achievements in the textual criticism of The Book of Songs in the Qing Dynasty is well known in the world. But actually, Yangshen, a learned scholar of the Ming Dynasty, by quoting from Various sources and collecting extensive data as proofs to support the research, he changed the idle talk style of scholars in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and put the research of The Book of Songs onto the path of textual criticism. His work not only had an influence on the research of The Book of Songs in the latter half of the Ming Dynasty but also paved the way for the flourishing research in the Qing Dynasty.
