Poetic Considerations of Understanding the Book of Songs by Shen Shouzheng

In late Ming Dynasty,Shen Shouzheng's Understanding the Book of Songs was one of the representative commentary works about The Book of Songs.In his book,Shen employed such literary approach as connect sentences and understand the ambiguity to interpret The Book of Songs,which was borrowed from literary theories and gained great success.This represented the new development in the study of The Book of Songs in late Ming Dynasty.Meanwhile,some defects in his interpretation of The Book of Songs could not be avoided due to the limitation of his age.
