Abstract

Objective To evaluate the value of CT in the diagnosis of inverted papilloma in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinus.Method CT information and operation records of 25 cases with inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinus were retrospectively analyzed. Results The tumor usually showed a irregular soft tissue mass around the middle nasal meatus.CT showed bone involvement and destruction of parts of the site vary with the surgical findings. Conclusion CT demonstrates non-specific in sinonasal inverted papilloma, but can better determine the scope of tumor invasion and provide more reliable basic imaging for the clinic.
