Abstract

[Objective] To master the distribution of voluntary blood donors with blood test positive in Hohhot, to implement blood donation advocacy, mobilization and recruitment, and ensure the blood safety for clinical use.[Methods]ELISA, RPR, Reit′s method, etc. were adopted to test the blood samples of voluntary blood donors in January 1—December 31, 2008. The results were analyzed statistically. [Results] Of 28 508 samples, 1717 were unqualified, the positive rate was 6.0%.[Conclusion]Publicity and identification of high-risk blood donors before donation should be implemented well to ensure the quality of blood.
