Clinicopathological study on 17 Cases of Subcutaneous Panniculitis-like T-cell Lymphoma

Abstract

Objective To observe the pathomorphology and clinical behavior of subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma(SPTCL).Methods Routine pathological and immunohistochemical methods were utilized to analysis 17 cases of SPTCL.Results All patients presented with single or multiple nontender subcutaneous nodules or plaques from 1 to 20 cm in diameter and 6 cases accompanied by medium or high fever,Histologically,the lesions were primarily confined to the subcutaneous tissue and the tumour cells infiltrated between adipocytes.Immunohistochemical analysis found the tumour cells of all cases were CD45RO+ or CD+ 3,as well as CD- 20and CD- 68.Conclusion SPTCL is a type of pereipheral T-cell lymphoma with unusual clinical and morphologic features,It is a new subtype of primary skin Lymphoma.
