Abstract
Objective:To investigate the curative effect of intravenous injection gamma globulin(IVIG) threapy on idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP).Method:Dosage of IVIG was 0.4 g·kg-1·d-1on d1~5. Result:Among 25 patients, 11 patients (44%) with ITP achieved remarkably excellent effects, 5 patients (20%) arrived at elementary curement, 6 patients (24%) acquired good effects, 4 patients (16%) imporved and 4 patients (16%) were without response. Total effective rate was 84%.Conclusion:To severe or refractory ITP, IVIG was a safe, effective treatment without obvius side effect.Currative effect was much better in initial patients or those younger that 14 years old. IVIG could be used repeatedly. Glucocorticoid could be effective in those relapsing patients.
