Clinical Analysis of High Dose Intravenous Injection Gamma Globulin in the Treatment of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Abstract

Objective To investigate curative effect of high dose intravenous injection gamma globulin(HDIVIG) therapy on idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP).Methods Dosage of IVIG was 0.4g/kg/d,d1-5.Result HDIVIG therapy group,among 48 patients,40 patients(83%)with ITP achieved remarkably excellent effects,8 patients (17%) acquired good effects;Convetional therapy group,among 52 patients,28 patients(53%) achieved remarkably excellent effects,14 patients (27%) acquired good effects,5 patients (10%) improved and 5 patients (10%) were without response.Conclusion To severe ITP,HDIVIG was a safe and effective treatment.
