Clinical analysis of vitrectomy treating vitreous hemorrhoages.

Objective To discuss the clinical effect of vitrectomy treating vitreous hemorrhages.Methods 58 cases of vitreous hemorrhages were treated with vitrectomy and analysed causes of hemorrhages.vision and complications were observed after vitrectomy.Results The causes of vitreous hemorrhage were refinal vein occlusion and retinal periphlebitis.Vision was 0.01～o.05 in 6 eyes(10.35%)prepperatively,35 eyes(60.35%)postoperatively and 33 eyes(66.00%)of 50 cases which were followed up for 2 to 4 monthes.Complications in operation were iatrogeic tear and endocular hemorrhages.Postoperative complications were repeated vitreous hemorrhages retinal detachment and lens opacity.Conclusions Vitreous hemorrhages which were not cured by medicine can be treated with vitrectomy.Postoperative vision can be increased obviously.Complications in operation and after operation are little appeared.
