Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of vitrectomy for severe vitreous hemorrhage.?Methods To analysis the vitrectomy on 37 cases with severe vitreous hemorrhage in different time.?Results In 37 cases, hemorrhage and retina adhesion was the major complication.13 cases were treated with single vitreous resection.24 cases were treated with vitreous resection combined with other surgery.Postoperative visual acuity of 2 eyes(5.40%) decreased.3 eyes have no change(8.11%).Other cases(86.49%) have improved in visual acuity.?Conclusion Vitreous resection is an effective method for severe traumatic vitreous hemorrhage.
