Principal Contradiction and Basic Contradiction in Socialist China

The contradiction between socialized production and public ownership is regarded as the principal one in socialist society while the non-antagonistic contradiction between partial interest and overall interest is the major one.The internal interest distribution will be adjusted by system reforms so as to make the economic system suitable to socialized production.Basic contradiction between people's increasing demand for material culture and the backward production forcereflects that the latter is the principle aspects of the contradiction that should be the goal of our task as well as of the reforms.
