Survivability Strategies of E-government System

As compared with traditional network concepts,survivability is an innovation and breakthrough,which integrates various research results,such as network security,reliability and fault tolerance,and has become a new research direction.For the network attack is inevitable and defense mechanism often fails how to ensure the survivability of egovernment system is now the focus.In the paper,based on analysis of the network specialties,the main threats against the E-government system,and the general model of survivability,a survivability model of E-government system is proposed,and then the security strategies are studied in detail from three levels as external network,special network,and intranet.
