Abstract
A method for the determination of total flavonoids from water chestnut peel was established.With 40 % ethanol as extracting solvent,the total flavonoids were extracted from water chestnut peel by microwave.With rutin as standard sample and NaNO2-Al(NO3)3-NaOH as color reagent,the flavonoids content was determined by VIS-spectrophotometry at the wavelength of 510 nm.The regression equation was A=0.010 5 C+ 0.001 4,correlation coefficient R2=1,linear range of obeying Bill Law was 8.41 mg/L -82.88 mg/L of total flavonoids concentration.The determination result showed that the average content of total flavoniods from water chestnut peel was 1.59 %,the RSD of reproducibility test was 1.38 %(n=6).The average recovery of this method was 99.6 %(RSD=0.799 %,n=6),the RSD of precision test was 1.64 %(n=6).
