Abstract

Huainanzi provided a measure of data for the study of Mohist School by means of the recount of the deeds of Mohist School before the Qin Dynasty.It also indicated the inevitable decline of fate of Mohist School in the transition from the Qin Dynasty to the Han Dynasty.Huainanzi took a pejorative attitude to Mohist School of thought in general.Although it adopted certain ideological notions and ideas of Mohist School,it made it partially Confucian and partially Daoist,especially by means of Daoist thought instillment and reinterpretation.
