Abstract

Marxist philosophy,a compulsory course in all Chinese universities, has been generally snubbed by students because of the outdated textbooks and unpopular teaching methods. Thus the paper suggests: 1) the teacher should use treatises for teaching materials; 2) the teacher needs to apply various teaching methods; 3) as a firm Marxist believer, the teacher should also be a researcher wellgrounded in theory and learned in profession.
