Situation and Development of Intellectual Property in Jiangsu Universities

As a habitat of scientific and technical power and high-tech talents, university is the cradle which explores, exploits, creates and produces new knowledge. Also, university is a cradle of scientific research, high-technology and intellectual property, so it is the vital ingredient of the management system. In this paper, the content as well as the present state of the intellectual property in Jiangsu universities is illuminated. Meanwhile, it analyzes some major problems and causes in this process and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the creation, management, application and protection in intellectual property in order to promote a smooth and efficient development of these tasks.
