Abstract
Theore tically,the certainty of criminal law means that the criminal law system itself can provide a mechanism to discover the correct answer of criminal problems.Practically,the certainty of criminal law embodies in some clear,stable and predictable standards which the criminal law system should persist in.The certainty of law is one of the basic requirements of rule of law.The certainty of criminal law,including in the principle of a legally prescribed punishment for a specified crime,has a very important legal significance.
