Abstract
The deformations requirement of enclosure structure and supporting system of deep excavation adjacent to metro stations are very rigorous. The displacement control of deep excavation which has common diaphragms with metro station structure is much more difficult, and the similar engineering experience is scare.Based on the deep excavation of Yueyang Plaza, the displacement and tstress of common diaphragm walls were tested in field. Then according to the test results, the displacement analysis of an adjacent metro station due to the deep excavation was taken. The finite element method was employed to study the proper measurements to control the displacement of the metro station. Some practical conclusions were drawn for the deep excavation adjacent to metro stations.
