Abstract

Objective To provide anatomical basis for the operation of the transposition of partial tendon of forearm to repair dislocation of the distal radio-ulnar joint. Methods Morphology configuration were measured on tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris and tendon of extensor carpi ulnaris and tendon of long radial extensor carpal muscle and tendon of brachioradial muscle and mechanics test were measured with tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris and tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris on 30 sides of adult cadaver upper limb specimen. Results The length of the tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris was(16.7±2.7)cm.The length of tendon of extensor carpi ulnaris was(14.9±2.5)mm.The length of tendon of long radial extensor carpal muscle was(19.0±2.0)cm.The lenth of tendon of brachioradial muscle was(11.7±2.4)cm.Mechanics test: the integrity of tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris was loading(2.4±0.9)Mpa,the half one was loading(2.2±0.9)Mpa.The integrity of tendon of extensor carpi ulnaris was loading(3.1±0.9)Mpa,the half one was loading(2.5±0.8)Mpa,they had no significant difference by T test. Conclusion The transposition of tendon of forearm has enough lenth and intensity to repair dislocation of the distal radio-ulnar joint.
