A Comparison between Reflux Extraction of Rhizoma Corydalis and Ultrasonic Extraction

Objective To probe the feasibility of ultrasonic extraction of rhizoma corydalis.Methods Using tetrahydropalmatine as the index,the optimum parameters of reflux and ultrasonic extraction process of rhizoma corydalis were selected with an orthogonal design.The experimental data were compared using paired sample t-test.Results The optimum technique parameters of ultrasonic extraction process were to put 50% ethanol in rhizoma corydalis powder and soakit 30 min.50% ethanol was 6 times the amount of medicinal materials,the ultrasound time was 1 h.The optimum technique parameters of reflux extraction process involved putting 50% ethanol in rhizoma corydalis powder and soakit 30 min.The volume of 50% ethanol was 10 times that of medicinal materials.The reflux time was 1 h.The difference between reflux and ultrasonic process of rhizoma corydalis powder was statistically significant.Conclusion Reflux works better in extracting rhizoma corydalis.Using the optimum technique parameters,the content of tetrahydropalmatine is the highest.
