Effect of bagging with different types of bags on fruit quality of Dangshansu pear cultivar

Eighteen different types of bags were chosen to study the effect of fruit bagging on Dangshansu pear cultivar fruit quality. The results showed that the fruit firmness and the content of titratable acidity in bagged fruit were higher than CK, and TSS (total soluble solid), total soluble sugars, fruit weight on average were decreased by 10.57%?11.74% and 27.96%, respectively. The sclereid content was markedly affected by fruit bagging, decreased by 10% to 52.7% than CK;The internal quality of Dangshansu pear fruit bagged with three-layer bags was much reduced than that of Dangshansu pear fruit bagged with two-layer and single-layer bags. The bagged fruit skin gloss was better than CK and the fruit spots were obviously less than CK. The effect of 2-layer and 3-layer bag was better than the single-layer bags. But the cost of the 3-layer bag was higher than that of the 2- layer bag, so the 2-layer fruit bag is the best choice.
