Abstract
To improve the diagnostic accuracy of sheep hepatic hydatid disease,to understand the development of hydatid disease and each cyst type,and to investigate appropriate treatment options,so as to provide a reference basis for clinical diagnosis,epidemiological investigations and related researches.We used B-ultrasound imaging technology to investigate 206 Kazakh sheep from Farm 165 in Tacheng for hepatic hydatid disease investigation.The analysis conformed to the classification standard for hydatid deseases ultrasound images proposed by World Health Organization Informal Working Group on Echinococcosis.58 cases with liver hydatid disease were found(positive rate,28.16%),including 19 cases of CL(32.75%),21 cases CE1(36.20%),2 cases CE2(3.44%),7 cases CE3(12.06%),1 case CE4(1.72%),and 8 cases CE5(13.79%).7 Kazakh sheep were infected hepatic hydatid disease by feeding with the eggs of echinococcus granulosus isolated from the experimental dogs,and followed by ELISA and DIGFA diagnosis.For the 7 sheep,ELISA appeared positive in CE3 type period,while DIGFA showed positive in CE1 type period.Conclusion: B-Ultrasound is the preferred method for diagnosis of sheep liver hydatid disease;the classification standard proposed by WHO-IWGE on Echinococcosis has referential meaning;the DIGFA has an advantage over ELISA as an auxiliary diagnostic method for early diagnosis.
