Application of Wallstents in Treatment of Portal Vein Hypertention by the Tumor Thrombus

Objective To search methods and results that used stents to treat portal vein high pressure by tumor thrombus. Methods Install stents in 10 HCC patients with portal vein hypertention by tumor thrombus,remain the catheter in portal to chemotherapy,combining with the regular TACE treatment. Results A portal vein pressure right away depressed different degree,from the 35～45cmH2O(average of 38cmH2O),declining to the 20～35cmH2O(average of 23.75cmH2O),descended 11.2cmH2O averagely,t=4.98,P0.01. The vein hypertention symptom alleviates obviously,alleviating the rate as 100%. After operation three weeks,the liver function,A/G,ascites symptoms obvious ameliorative,some symptoms disappears completely. No one occurs narrow again inside the stents during stay in the hospital. Conclusion Stents treatment portal vein tumor thrombus is an effective methods,worthy of expansion.
