Abstract

The physiological functions of lycopene were summarized from the aspects of anticarcinogenic activity,antioxidation,cardiovascular prevention,atherosclerosis delay,anti-aging,skin protection and so on.The existing production technology of lycopene at home and abroad were outlined.Finally,the application prospective of lycopene was predicted.
