Abstract
Chinese message shadow, as a representative of the Chinese films that achieved success with local characteristic, is an exotic flower in the course of the historical development of Chinese and world films. With special charm and the oriental traditional aesthetic ideas, the Chinese message shadow gives people a new outlook on the latent energy and the reclamation of films, and provides graceful and fresh illustrations for the richness and innovation of the art of film. What is more, it is a promotion and an appreciation of the approach of Chinese contemporary films to the localization, artisticalization and internationalization.
