Abstract
The pipeline construction in water network region is an arduous task for West to East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project.The construction organization has explored and formed a series of methods and technology of pipeline construction in water network region according to the principle of″control water by water,suit measures to local conditions″and the construction characters of large di-ameter pipeline.These valuable experiences will be helpful for future similar projects.This paper summa-rizes the innovative and practical construction methods and technology used in water network region in West to East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project.They are construction and reinforcement of makeshift road and bridge;clearance of construction operation area;pipe conveyance and layout;lowing pipeline segment to ditch and pipeline crossing.
