Abstract
It has been known that bone marrow-derived circulating endothelial progenitor cells could be found in the pe-ripheral blood circulation and umbilical cord blood. Endothelial progenitor cells could be differentiated to mature endothelial cells and their role in the vasculogenesis, angiogenesis and vascular repairing has been identified. It is significant to investigate the regulation factors of endothelial progenitor cells mobilization and their role in the vascular repairing for the vascular diseases treatment. In this article we reviewed the effects of different drugs on mobilization of endothelial progenitor cells.
