Abstract
This paper simulates the induction heating process of the continuous casting of square billet according toelectromagnetic induction and heat exchange theory by great engineering software ANSYS.It analyses the distribu-tion of the temperature after induction heating,the dissipated power and the density of magnetic force line in thesquare billet that provides important reference bade for the good use of induction heating equipment.
