SURVEY ON AIDS KNOWLEDGE,ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR AMONG FOUR GROUPS IN SHANGCAI COUNTY OF HENAN

[Objective] To investigate the current status of health education for HIV /AIDS among four groups in Shang-cai county.[Methods] A two-stage cluster sampling were performed to recruit villagers aged 15-49 years,middle school stu-dents,people living with HIV /AIDS(PLWHA)and commercial sex workers(CSW),and the four groups were investigated convenience sampling survery method.SPSS11.5 was conducted to analyze data collected.[Results] 442 villagers,772 middle school students,369 PLWHA and 150 CSW were investigate,and the corrected rates of the five questions about the AIDS knowledge of the four groups were 72.2%,84.6%,95.9%,and 85.3%,respectively.And significant difference was found a-mong the four groups(χ2 = 80.73,P﹤0.001).The rates of the four crowds who would like to contact the HIV infected ac-quaintances were 77.8%,77.6%,98.4% and 52.7%,respectively.Out of 369 PLWHA,people who had sexual behaviors in the past 3 months accounted for 71.5%,and the condom using rate of them was 92.0%.The rate of condom using during the nearest once commercial sexual behaviors among CSW was 86.7%;The rate of condom using during the past one month of CSW who had sexual behaviors with whoremaster was 84.7%,and the rate of them with fixed sexual partner was 12%,moreover,they hadn' t injected drugs in the past 6 months.[Conclusion] The misunderstianding toward HIV /AIDS is still exist among residents in Shangcai,and there exists risk behaviors for HIV infection.It is suggestion that multiform,extensive and in-depth health education and behavioral intervention about AIDS should be taken for different kinds of people.
