Abstract

Drawing upon historical experiences, Deng Xiaoping proposed a series of legal ideas about China's open policy and modernization. These ideas, which are practical and original, present an overall view of China's economic construction in the wake of globalization. They should be upheld as the guiding principles for China's legal modernization.
