Abstract
A method for the determination of isoniacin and 4-methylpyridine(4-MP) in the electro-oxysynthesis solution of isonacin by double-wavelength UV spectrophotometry was developed. The wavelengths selected were 258 nm and 269 nm.Experimental results showed that isoniacin and 4-MP have a good additive absorbance property in H_2SO_4 solution. The detection limits for isoniacin and 4-MP were 3.5 μmol/L and 3.8 μmol/L, respectively. The average relative standard deviation and recovery for isoniacin were 1.35% and 99%,respectively,and those for 4-MP were 0.83% and 100%,respectively.
