Related Factors of Patients With Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome

Abstract

Objective: To study the correlative factors of OHSS. Methods: Compare the clinical and laboratory parameters of OHSS patients with those of non-OHSS patients. Results: Compared with non - OHSS patients, the OHSS patients had the tendency of larger ovarian , more retrieved oocytes, high rate of pregnancy. In addition, the moderate and severe OHSS patients were significantly younger, receiving lower doses of Gn, and with increased prevalence of allergy. Compared with late OHSS patients, early OHSS patients were younger, and had a higher level of serum E2 concentration after controlled ovarian hyperstimulation. Conclution: Judicious monitoring and treatments of patients who had high risk factors probably would prevent and reduce the OHSS.
