Abstract
To adapt to the general line of interim period and to serve the needs of civil economic construction,China carried out a serials of reforms of basic education curriculum,thus establishing the primary mode of basic education curriculum in new China,which has far reaching influence on our country's reform and development of basic education.On the other hand,due to dogmatism in dealing with overseas educational experience,the curriculum reform in this period committed the problem of copying and transplanting USSR's mode.In fact the curriculum reform from 1953 to 1957 has formed the second wave of curriculum reforms of basic education in new China.
