The study on protection and utilization of the wetland in Yangtze River valley

The lakes and wetlands in the middle reach of Yangtze River valley are typical wetlands,with high economical value and environmental and ecological function.Because of natural and artificial reasons,the wetland is facing serious ecological and environmental problems.The protection of Yangtze River wetland must be take account of both protection and utilization at the same time,and put protection at the first.National wetland reserves must be constructed in some important wetlands,such as Honghu Lake,Liangzi Lake and Longgan Lake,and laws and regulations be established,and integrated planning and management of wetland protection be implemented.
