Abstract

Firstly, this paper introduces network management and some related technologies of the Distributed Object Computing at present, then analyses DCOM and CORBA detailedly which are more intimate to the distributed network management from their architecture, definition specification, programming model, platform support, WWW support, interoperability, and so on. Finally, the paper discusses the future development of DCOM and CORBA.
