Flora of Wild Plant Seeds in Tomur Grand Canyon of Tianshan in Xinjiang

Tomur Grand Canyon is located in the fruticous desert of warm temperate zone and desert grassland of temperate zone in the southern slope of Tianshan Tuomuer. The natural habitat isn't affected by human disturbance basically,with the original state and plant diversity preserved,and has important value of biodiversity and conservation. There are 131 species of seed plants,representing 102 generas in 35 families. The few-species families have absolute advantage and one-species families are subdominant. There are only 4 families with more than 10 species,taking 11. 43% of all families. The ratios of gerera and species to this region are about 50. 00% and53. 43% in the 4 families. In the family level,the temperate distribution( tropical-temperate,subtropical-temperate,temperate) occupies the overwhelming superiority( 18 families,51. 43%). Generas in this area are single-species genera or few-species genera,single-species genera accounts for absolute advantage. In the distribution types of the genus,north temperate type and its variants are dominate,followed by the Old World Temperate type and its variants,Mediterranean,Western Asia to Middle Asia type and variations in the third place,while tropical elements just occupy tiny percentage. There are 20 species of endemic species,rare species and key protected plants,taking a higher proportion. The study result could provide scientific reference for formulating world natural heritage site protection and management planning in Tianshan of Xinjiang.
