Abstract
Under batch-flow conditions, some parameters including COD,TP,NH3-N and SS were measured with 1day internal in 4 combined artificial wetlands. Results of 7 months operation showed that the effluent can meet Grade II of discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant GB18918-2002.In which the removal efficiency of COD was the best in subsurface flow(horizontal flow)and vertical flow(upward flow)constructed wetland system, while removal efficiency of TP,NH3-N and SS were the best in the vertical flow(downward flow)and vertical flow(upward flow)constructed wetland system.Selecting calcium containing limestone and iron containing ore powder as substrate, using batch flow operation mode could improve removal efficiency of pollutants in constructed wetland system.
