Abstract
Horizontal limestone subsurface wetland was applied to advanced remove secondary effluent from sewage treatment plant.Hydraulic loading was intermittent contrdled and a continuous water samplings, namely, samplings under hydraulic loadings were of 0.278,0.139 and 0.093 m/d,were selected. The results showed that the horizontal limestone subsurface flow constructed wetlands had better removal effects on CODcr,NH3-N,TN and TP,and 0.093 m/d was the best run hydraulic load. Moreover, the removal effect of the subsurface flow wetland on each pollutant increased with the decreasing of the hydraulic load.
