Nursing method and effectiveness of extending traditional Chinese drug retention-enema time on chronic renal failure

Objective To explore the effective nursing method and effectiveness of extending traditional Chinese drug retention-enema time on chronic renal failure.Methods 78 patients with chronic renal failure treated by traditional Chinese drug retention enema were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 39 patients each.They were suffered from different anal tube model,insertion depth,and body position of enema,and the retention time and serum creatine was analyzed by comparison.Results Compared with control group,the retention time of observation group was extended statistically significant(P0.01),and the serum creatine decreased statistically significant(P0.01).Conclusions The traditional Chinese drug retention-enema time will be extended and the therapeutic effect will be improved with proper body position,relatively delicate anal tube and increasing insertion depth.
