Alprostadil Combined Perindopril in Treatment of Early Diabetic Nephropathy

[Objective]To observe the therapeutic effects of combined treatment of aiprostadil(PGE-1)with perindopril(ACEI)against early diabetic nephropathy(DN)in patients.[Methods]Totally 96 cases of early DN were randomly divided into combined treatment group(50 cases)and perindopril group(46 cases),perindopril 4mg was administrated to both 2 groups.Intravenous injection of PGE 110μg was administrated to combined treatment group per day for continuous 14 days.[Results]After 2 weeks of treatment,24-hour urine protein and albumin excretory rate were significantly decreased in combined treatment group,compared with that of pretreatment(P0.01),and it also lower than that of perindopril group.After 3 months of treatment,urine protein maintained at a low level,while that of perindopril group significantly decreased(P0.01).[Conclusion]In the early stages of DN,combined treatment with alprostadil and perindopril can quickly reduce the urinary albumin excretion rate,and makes the urine protein maintain at a low level which indicates that perindopril combined PGE-1 is an effective treatment of early DN.
