Abstract
The Ode party was an early school that focused on A Dream of Red Mansions in a form of verse. Confined by limited length, it was difficult for most scholars to do a thorough review on A Dream of Red Mansions. However, they could tightly grasp the artistic images of the original works to express their feelings freely. With a comparatively broad vision, they did widen the annotating latitude of A Dream of Red Mansions. But up to now, redology scholars have paid the least attention to this school. From a perspective of discriminating redology documents, this article discusses the author, edition, lost manuscript, etc. of A Dream of Red Mansions involved by works of early Ode party.
