Observation of efficacy on chronic apical periodontitis treated by improving root canal filling paste in one visit

Objective To observe the clinic efficacy on chronic apical periodontitis treated by the improving root canal paste in one visit. Methods The cases of the chronic apical periodontitis were obtained from outpatients and random divided into two groups. The experiment root canal was filled root canal filling paste in one visit, while the other canals treated conventional root canal therapy as control. The effects were observed after one month, six months and twelve months. Results The effects of two groups were insignificant difference (P0.05). Conclusion This method is not only simple, but also shortens treatment period, so it might replace the routine root canal therapy.
