Abstract
Due to Zhuzhuang Coal Mine influenced by the geological condition limited and the mining block boundary, to improve the coal mining recovery rate, the layout of the III624 coal mining face was in irregular shape.The original design of the coal face was a high ranking mechanized coal mining face.With the reform of the face conditions, a fully mechanized longwall coal mining was applied to the mine.During the coal mining period, the length of the face conveyor would be extended, the number of the hydraulic powered supports would be increased and some hydraulic powered supports would be put in the air returning gateway for standby and other measures had been made.The big problem of the coal mining technology was overcome and a good economic benefit was obtained.
