Geotechnical Engineering Investigation for A Wharf at Xianrendao Harbour Area of Yingkou Port

With the rapid development of Xianrendao Harbour Area of Yingkou Port in the recent years,it is of practical significance to study the engineering geology feature and the foundation of wharf structure.Integrating with the actual example of engineering investigation at a wharf of Xianrendao Harbour Area,Yingkou Port,the analyses on the characteristics of each soil layer at Xianrendao Harbour Area and the problem of selecting the foundation for wharf structure are made.The method for foundation treatment in the harbour area and the proposal for selection of wharf foundation shape are given.
