Abstract
Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI)is a new non-invasive and quantitative technique to analyze ventricular wall motion, which can remove frenquency shift signal with high speed and low amplitude resulting from blood of heart and remain frenquency shift signal with low speed and high amplitude by changing filtering system on the basis of traditional color Doppler. This article reviews the progress of TDI in analyzing ventricular wall motion and cardic function, detecting survival myocardium and judging the prognosis of heart failure.
