Ideas about Humanity in Chinese Language Teaching

Chinese language is a fundamental subject,but affected by modern utilitarianism,knowledge and skills have been more emphasized while the connotation and characteristics of humanity in Chinese language have been ignored.The popularity of vocational education in recent years encourages utilitarianism and technicism,consequently,Chinese lessons,a subject considered irrelevant to vocation,were radically cut.Chinese teaching is in a ridiculous situation;however,it always adds luster to human,and it is a very noble career.
