Effects of Propolis Soft Capsual on Reducing Blood Lipid of Rats

Abstract

In order to study effects on of propolis soft capsule on reducing blood lipid of rats,the rats were administered by oral with propolis soft capsule at the doses of 0.2,0.4,1.2 g/kg bw for 30 days respectively. Compared with the control group,the dose of 1.2 g/kg bw can significantly decrease the levels of TG and TC in serum of high fat diet rats(p0.05). Each dose has no remarkable effect on HDL-C level in serum of rats(p0.05). The results demonstrate propolis soft capsule's effects of reducing blood lipid.
