Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effects of propolis perilla soft capsule on blood-lipid regulation.Methods: Rats were fed with high-fat feed in order to establish the hyperlipidemia model.The contents of TC,TG and HDL-C in the serum of the rats were tested before the experiment and the rats were divided into 4 groups randomly according to their TC level consideration to TG level,including the hyperlipidemia control group,propolis perilla low,middle and high dose groups.Soft capsule contents were given for 30 days,and then the TC,TG and HDL-C level of the rats were retested.Results: Compared to the hyperlipidemia control group,the TC level of the middle and high dose group were decreased and the difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusion: The propolis perilla soft capsule is effective on blood-lipid regulation of the hyperlipidemia model rats.
