Abstract
With the change of educational concept,lifelong education has developed into an important guiding ideology in the field of adult higher education.To carry out lifelong education and to properly position the role of adult higher education are of great priority in adult higher education development.Based on the research data and interpretation of lifelong education,the paper mainly focuses on the developing trend of adult higher education.It is an indispensible part of Chinese education system as a key form of popularizing higher education which can promote the build of learning-oriented society.It's believed that adult higher education is making progress characterized with globalization,diversification and distance education universalization.
